We recycle anything with a cord.
If it has a cord, a battery, or a circuit board, we recycle it. We handle all types of electronic equipment from corporate IT asset retirement, office cleanouts, and data center decommissioning projects:
Large-volume corporate cleanouts and data center decommissions are welcome. Contact us for project-based pricing on high-volume engagements.
Electronic waste contains hazardous materials — lead, mercury, cadmium, and other substances that cause serious environmental harm when improperly disposed of. Landfill disposal of e-waste is illegal in Massachusetts and many other states. CDS processes all equipment through certified downstream recycling partners who handle hazardous materials responsibly and in compliance with applicable environmental regulations.
We provide documentation of the full recycling chain, so you have a complete record of how your equipment was processed. This documentation satisfies environmental compliance requirements and internal asset retirement audit trails.
Critically, before any equipment is recycled, any storage media it contains is destroyed. Drives are removed and shredded; storage on integrated devices is rendered unrecoverable. Your recycling engagement is also a data destruction engagement — you get both the certificate of destruction and the recycling documentation.
